Starchy Knowledge

Final installation for Graduation project at Master Artistic Research, KABK den Haag, 2020.

Dimensions variable, spray paint and oil pastel on paper, bricks, thread, wire, tape, clay, tree branch, video, tv monitor and DVD player. 

 

 

A large drawing on paper hangs from the ceiling of a room and comes forward onto the room being held in place by 4 different bricks. The drawings is made up of colourful squiggles that dances and overlap with each other
a room with a curved wall. On it hang two shelves, one with a tv and another one with a dvd player. On the wall behind the tv we also see a chain drawn with black tape. Hanging from the ceiling a series of strings attached to some bricks from which a sculpture made out of a chain hangs.
